Come Home Soon

We want to say good-bye (although just temporarily) to Firefighter Kolb who is being deployed to Afghanistan. Undoubtedly he will continue to perform his duties in superlative fashion as he has done in previous deployments and as a firefighter with Namozine.

Chris… hurry home safely. The fire ground will not be the same when command needs large walls removed. The station will not be the same when some folks are in need of push ups. And the extracurricular activities away from the Department… well, that goes without saying. You have only been gone one week and there is a large void around the fire house. Good luck, we will see you soon Superman.

Around noon on 10/16/2011 a southbound SUV left the roadway and overcorrected, running off of the road. After impacting the guardrail, the vehicle ran down the embankment before hitting several trees at approximately 70 mph. The driver was transported my Medic 12 with NLT injuries.
